Networking Field Day 17 – Here We Go!

Networking Field Day 17 – Here We Go!

Jan 21, 2018 | Posted by ~Chris | Networking, TechFieldDay, Technology |

I’m pumped!

In just two days I fly out to the West Coast to participate in my very first Tech Field Day event. These Field Day events “bring together innovative IT product vendors and independent thought leaders to share information and opinions in a presentation and discussion format.” I’ve learned a ton watching past events and I’m super excited to be invited to participate.

This week I’ll be joining about a dozen industry experts to form the delegate panel for Networking Field Day 17. We’ll be hearing updates and announcements from Juniper, Thousand Eyes, Extreme Networks, VMware, Cisco, Mellanox, Cumulus, and Ixia.

I plan to ask lots of questions between vigorous note taking and hope to come away with some real insights that I can share. If you don’t want to wait for me to synthesize what the presenters have to say, you can watch the video stream live and use #NFD17 to follow or join into the conversation as it happens.

  • The video stream will be here when available: http://techfieldday.com/event/nfd17/
  • On that same page is the schedule: http://techfieldday.com/event/nfd17/#Presentations
  • The list of presentations (linked above) includes links to individual pages where you’ll be able to find recorded videos of the presentations after the event.

Can’t wait? Check out the blog posts that Greg Fero and Drew Conry-Murray posted about the event to hold you over.
